Telugu is the fourth most spoken native language in India, with 83 million first-language speakers in the 2011 census, and it is the official language of Telangana 9. Google lists Telugu, Hindi and Urdu among the languages for AI Overviews and AI Mode 23. We found no data on how Hyderabad users type to assistants.

Which Hyderabad areas and names should your pages use?
Name the area buyers know. Wikipedia lists Gachibowli, the Financial District, HITEC City and Kukatpally as the corridors with many high-rise buildings, and it places historic markets such as Pearl Market, Laad Bazaar and Madina Circle in the old city 6. HITEC City was inaugurated on 22 November 1998 across suburbs including Madhapur, Gachibowli and Kondapur, sometimes called Cyberabad 7.
Buyers also search by Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills and Secunderabad, so list the ones you really serve. The GHMC had six zones, 30 circles and 150 wards under the 1955 Act, but Wikipedia says the corporation is being split into three entities in 2026, so check which civic body covers your area before naming it on a page 6. Telangana was formed on 2 June 2014 6. Use area names in headings, and use the exact same address line across Google and directories.
Create an area page only where you have a real office, clinic or repeat customers. An office in Madhapur does not justify a page for Old City.
How do IT and global capability centre buyers use AI in Hyderabad?
Some will likely use AI to shortlist vendors, and we have no data on how many, so give them comparison-ready pages. A global capability centre, or GCC, is a company's own technology or support unit based in India. Wikipedia says that as of 2025 there were about 360 GCCs in Hyderabad against 875 in Bengaluru, and that Hyderabad was attracting more recently 7.
The same source says Microsoft set up its Indian development centre in Hyderabad in 1998 and Amazon began Indian operations there in 2004 7. Hyderabad's IT exports were ₹1,45,522 crore, about US$19.66 billion, in 2021, from 1,500 IT and ITES companies employing 628,615 people 6.

Publish checkable facts and avoid cure claims. Wikipedia calls Hyderabad India's pharmaceutical capital and says it made one third of India's bulk drugs and 16% of biotechnology products in 2010 6. Genome Valley, a cluster of about 2,000 acres commissioned in 1999, hosts biomedical research and manufacturing, including Bharat Biotech 8.
India's Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act prohibits advertising drugs for curing, diagnosing or preventing diseases in its schedule, which originally listed 54 conditions including cancer, diabetes and tuberculosis 10. A first conviction can bring up to six months in prison, with or without a fine 10. Wikipedia says the schedule has not been updated recently, so ask a lawyer whether your claim falls inside it. Clinic and wellness pages are the usual risk.

Yes, if they publish specifics that a chatbot can quote. Pearl Market and Laad Bazaar are listed as historic commercial areas in Hyderabad's old city 6. Shops there compete on products, but most sites show only photos and a phone number.
