We found no public data on how many NCR residents or buyers ask ChatGPT or Google AI Mode for providers. So we cannot give you an AI share for the region. What we can say is that both Google AI features are available in India 23, and that NCR contains very different kinds of buyers within one hour's drive.

Which city names and languages should NCR pages use?
Use the name buyers type, and mention the other spelling once. Gurgaon became Gurugram in 2016: the chief minister proposed the change on 12 April and announced Union approval on 27 September, and Gurgaon is still used in everyday speech 7. Write Gurugram in headings if your formal listings do, but expect searches for both.
Hindi is the main first language in Gurugram and Noida. About 74.18% of Gurugram residents and 85.8% of Noida residents gave Hindi as their first language in 2011 78. Google lists both Hindi and Punjabi among the languages for AI Overviews and AI Mode 23.
Hinglish, or Hindi written in Roman letters, is common online. Wikipedia says Romanised Hindi is the dominant form of expression online in India, and it describes Hinglish as more common in urban northern India 12. In one cited study of YouTube comments, 52% were in Romanised Hindi and 46% in English 12. That is a sample of comments, not of AI prompts.

Micro and small enterprises accounted for 45.6% of cumulative GMV on GeM, according to the same page 10. If you are a small supplier, you are in good company. The challenge is to be easy to verify.
Make your website and your GeM profile say the same things: legal name, product categories, certifications and delivery territory. Then publish catalogue pages in plain text, with specifications and lead times. An assistant asked who supplies a given item in Delhi may favour pages that state specifics. We have not tested how GeM data surfaces in AI answers, so treat this as modelled advice.
What does Noida's industrial and media base mean for suppliers?
Noida buyers are often manufacturers and media firms, so spec-heavy pages win. Wikipedia lists Paytm headquarters, major news channels and T-Series in Noida, and about 11,000 industrial units in August 2025 8.
IndiaMART, a B2B marketplace, is headquartered in Noida and was founded in 1996, according to Wikipedia 11. A marketplace profile is useful, yet your own site is where you control the detail an assistant reads.
