Who it is for
  • Managers and team leads. A direct report is leaving, going on maternity leave, moving abroad or getting promoted, and you want a gesture the whole team is part of, without losing an evening to it.
Styles and occasions
  • **Classic corporate**: clean serif type in navy and cream, for retirements and formal send-offs.
  • **Warm scrapbook**: instant-photo frames, tape and handwritten-style lettering, for farewells and maternity send-offs.
  • **Office comic**: a hand-drawn caricature-style cover from a photo you choose, with doodles through the book.
  • **Sevanivritti formal**: a saffron and gold border, Devanagari type and a citation-style first page.
  • **Minimal startup**: bold sans-serif type, big pull-quotes and blocks of colour, for tech teams.
  • **Uniform and honour**: regimental colours and ribbon dividers for armed forces, police and railways, with a crest slot the organiser fills only with permission.
Retirement on superannuation
In many government, PSU and bank offices, retirement falls at the end of the month someone reaches retirement age, so the date is known well ahead. Check your own service rules. Customs at the farewell function vary by office and region. Our guide to a government office retirement farewell walks through it gently.
Staff retirements at schools, colleges and hospitals, Mar to Jun
When fellow teachers, professors, doctors or nurses organise it. A book from students belongs on class farewell books, and a family-organised retirement on parent retirement books.
Team year-end, Nov to Dec
A team yearbook built in November and revealed at the year-end party, with a copy for every member.
Transfers and moves abroad, Apr to Jun
A relocation send-off with the team's favourite chai and lunch spots in the city they are leaving.
Maternity and parental leave
Advice for the new parent and kind words for the months ahead, with no questions about when they will be back. See maternity leave farewell messages for ideas.
Promotions and new roles
Not a goodbye: why they are ready, and advice for the new chair from the people who know their work best.

Questions parents ask

Is it really free?

Making the book and saving the PDF is free. Printing is optional and paid, and we confirm the price and delivery date by email before you pay.

What happens to my photos?

Photo books are laid out on your device and the photos never leave it. For illustrated books, up to three photos are used once to draw the character and then deleted. See privacy.

What if someone writes something inappropriate, or a photo shows work material?

We flag rude or possibly hurtful jokes, and photos showing screens, whiteboards, documents or ID badges, for the organiser to review. The organiser can hide or restore any message before the reveal or print, because a printed book cannot be taken back.

What if we don't like the book?

You see the full book before anything is shared or printed. Hide a message, swap the cover photo, try another style, regenerate a page, or tap for a shorter version or one in Hindi. Edits stay free until you order print. If a printed book arrives with a print defect, or later than the date we committed to, we reprint or refund it.

When can we start one, and what do the book and extra copies cost?

We are opening in batches and have not set a date yet. Printed books and extra copies, one for the family and one for the team, are paid by size: see prices below. We take payment only for the print order, so collect the team's share however you usually do.

Ready to make yours?

Free to make. You see every page before you save it.
