Who it is for
  • Parents planning a birthday. The birthday is a few weeks away and you want a gift that isn't more plastic. A book where your child is the hero, with their party theme and favourite cake.
  • Families who want roots. You want your child to know Kanha and Hanumanji through stories, not only cartoons. Gentle stories where your child meets them as a friend.
  • Parents expecting a second baby. A big brother or big sister book makes the older child the hero and the big helper. The baby is drawn as a little infant, so no baby photo is needed.
  • Birthday party hosts. Pocket-size return-gift books starring the birthday child, each with a thank-you page for one guest. Guests appear by name only.
Styles and occasions
  • Soft watercolour picture book, our default for ages 1 to 5 and bedtime
  • Classic Indian comic style: bold ink lines, flat colour and speech bubbles
  • Bright 3D cartoon look, for ages 4 to 8 and adventure stories
  • Indian folk-art frames inspired by Madhubani, Warli and Pattachitra, for Kanha and Hanumanji stories
  • Crayon-and-doodle style, for the ABC name book
