About this book

Print it only if you love it.

Page by page
  1. Cover and title page

Both your names as you want them printed, the city and the month, and both family names if you like. For example: Ananya & Kabir: Haldi to Vidaai, Jaipur, December 2025.

  2. A first page from whoever is giving it

A short dedication from the couple, the parents or a sibling. Write your own line or pick one of three suggestions.

  3. How it began

An opening spread built from your answer to how you met, whether it was a family introduction, college, work or an app, with a photo of the two of you.

  4. One chapter for every function

Roka, sagai, haldi, mehendi, sangeet, baraat, varmala, pheras, nikah, anand karaj, vidaai, reception and more, in the order your family followed. Each chapter opens with a short intro and the date, then a hero portrait, a candid grid and ritual sequences such as a varmala filmstrip. Captions describe each ritual gently, because practice varies by family, region and community.

  5. The people who made it

A family names page from the names you type in, plus pages for the people you said you'd hate to see missing, like Chhoti Bua or Rohan bhaiya. Star a photo or two of each one and the preview tells you if anyone still has no page.

  6. The moment you still laugh about

  7. Video pages

  8. Credits and closing page

An optional photographer credit page, an optional ritual glossary for relatives and friends who are new to the ceremonies, and a closing spread of the two of you.

  4. What's one funny or unforgettable moment from the wedding?

  6. Which song did everyone dance to at the sangeet? Only the title is printed.
  7. Who is this book from, and what should the first page say? Write a line or pick one of 3 suggestions.
  8. Captions in English, Hindi or Hinglish?

Questions parents ask

Is it really free?

Making the book and saving the PDF is free. Printing is optional and paid, and we confirm the price and delivery date by email before you pay.

What happens to my photos?

Photo books are laid out on your device and the photos never leave it. For illustrated books, up to three photos are used once to draw the character and then deleted. See privacy.

How many photos do I need for a shaadi album?

At least 20, but a full album works best with 150 to 400 photos picked across the functions. If you have the photographer's whole folder, send it and we shortlist 120 to 180 for you. Read how many photos go in a wedding album for a function-by-function guide.

Our wedding was a Tamil muhurtham, a nikah or an anand karaj. Will the chapters fit?

Yes. You tick the functions that actually happened, and the chapter order and ritual words follow your family's tradition, including mixed and inter-community weddings. Practice varies by family, region and community, so every caption is shown to you in the preview and you can rewrite any of them before you confirm.

Can I order copies for both families?

Yes. Add copies of the same album at checkout, and choose a smaller hardcover for grandparents if you like. Extra copies of the same book cost less, and the price is shown before you pay.
