About this book

You tell us who went, the places in order and, if you like, a prayer or blessing line for the first page. Choose Hindi or English captions and large print. AI sorts your photos by day and place, writes the captions and shows you a preview to confirm. No design work, no editor.

Printed copies are paid, one for your parents and one for your own shelf.

Page by page
  1. Cover

The title over your own photo of the temple, the river or the mountains, with a marigold and diya border. We suggest a title, such as Maa-Papa ki Char Dham Yatra, 2026, and you can change it. We never make an AI image of a deity.

  2. The blessing page

A prayer, bhajan line or blessing in your words, set in large type on the first page. You can skip it. Temple names and prayer lines are checked against a careful list, and you read and confirm this page before anything is printed.

  3. The route

A simple illustrated map of your stops in order, with the dates, such as Haridwar to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. It is drawn from your answer, not a GPS map, and you confirm every place name in the preview.

  4. Day by day, stop by stop

One chapter for each stop: the early start, the walk or the pony ride, the river, the temple from outside, the aarti if you photographed it. Where photos were not allowed, the chapter uses the moments you did capture, and you can add a line about the darshan in your own words. If AI is not sure of a place, the chapter says Day 3 until you confirm it.

  5. The people on the journey

Everyone who went, named the way the family calls them: Maa, Papa, Dadi, Mama ji, Bua. AI balances the pages so every traveller appears, not only the one holding the phone. Grandchildren appear only with their own parent's agreement, and other children by name only.

  6. Moments on video

  7. A closing page

The questions we ask
  1. Who did you take on the yatra? Tap everyone (Maa, Papa, Dadi, Dada, Nani, Nana, Mama, Bua, you) and add names
  2. Where did you go, in order? (we pre-fill it from the photos you pick, e.g. Haridwar, Kedarnath, Badrinath, so just fix anything we got wrong)
  3. What was the best moment of the yatra?
  4. A moment from the journey the family still smiles about? (optional)
  5. A prayer, bhajan line or blessing for the first page?
  6. Captions in Hindi or English?
  7. Large print for elders? (yes or no)
  8. What should the book be called? (we suggest one, e.g. Maa-Papa ki Vaishno Devi Yatra)
Best for and styles
  • Adult children who took their parents on Char Dham, Vaishno Devi, Kashi, Tirupati or another pilgrimage
  • Parents and grandparents who want big type, Hindi captions and fewer photos per page
  • A yatra from years ago that lives in an album of prints
  • A keepsake for the elders who could not make the journey and want to see it
  • Yatra devotional: marigold and diya motifs, a saffron and maroon palette and large type
  • Large-print Hindi: big Devanagari captions and fewer photos per page, easy for elders to read
  • Watercolour destination: a painted cover made from your own photo of the river or mountains, never a deity likeness
  • Map-led itinerary: an illustrated route map opening each stop
  • Coffee-table minimal: white space, large photos and small captions

Questions parents ask

Is it really free?

Making the book and saving the PDF is free. Printing is optional and paid, and we confirm the price and delivery date by email before you pay.

What happens to my photos?

Photo books are laid out on your device and the photos never leave it. For illustrated books, up to three photos are used once to draw the character and then deleted. See privacy.

Will the book have images of deities?

No. We never make an AI image of a deity. The cover and pages use only your own photos, with a respectful design: marigold, diya and plain borders, no stickers or jokes. If you photographed a temple or an idol yourself, it stays as your photo.

Our pilgrimage is different. Will the book fit?

Pilgrimages and the practices around them vary by family, region and community. Whether you went to Kashi, Tirupati, the Golden Temple, for Umrah or somewhere closer to home, type the name your family uses and tap only what happened. Captions follow your answers, and we never add a ritual you did not describe. We do not give religious guidance or calculate muhurat.

Can my parents read it easily?

Choose large print and the book uses big type, fewer photos per page and plain layouts. Pick Hindi for Devanagari captions or English if they prefer. You can check every page in the preview before printing.
