Page by page
Cover
A photo of your pet from this year with their name and age, such as Coco Turns 3!. You choose from three cover options. The name, breed and age come from your answers, never guessed.
Hi, it's me
My years with you
One spread for each year, from the earliest photo you pick to now. Photos are sorted by the time they were taken, blurry shots and near-duplicates are set aside, and faces are kept whole in every crop. For a first birthday, the timeline runs season by season instead.
How we celebrated
Favourite treat and favourite things
A page for the treat they wait for, the toy they guard, the spot on the balcony and the person they run to first. Hindi or bilingual captions are an option, such as a page that reads janamdin mubarak above their photo.
Wishes from family and friends
Zoomies on video
A birthday letter
The questions we ask
- What is your pet's name? Any nicknames at home?
- Dog or cat, boy or girl, and which breed? (Indie and desi mixes are first in the list)
- Coat colour and markings? (tap up to 3 colours, like fawn, black or tabby, and up to 2 markings, like a white chest patch or one floppy ear)
- How old are they turning?
- What is their favourite treat, and their favourite thing in the world? (tap: a toy, a food, a person, a spot in the house, car rides, the balcony, chasing crows, then add one line)
- Pick 3 words that describe them (tap: naughty, lazy, foodie, drama queen, guard dog, cuddly, zoomies champion, shy, bossy, gentle giant, talkative). What do they do that nobody else's pet does?
- Optional: what would you write to them on the last page?
Best for and styles

Questions parents ask
Is it really free?
Making the book and saving the PDF is free. Printing is optional and paid, and we confirm the price and delivery date by email before you pay.
What happens to my photos?
Photo books are laid out on your device and the photos never leave it. For illustrated books, up to three photos are used once to draw the character and then deleted. See privacy.
We adopted our Indie and don't know her real birthday. Can we still make one?
Yes. Many rescued and adopted pets have no known birth date. Pick the day your family celebrates, or make a gotcha day album for the day they came home. You can type an age in years and months, or skip it, and the book will not guess.
Will the book show cake and treats that aren't safe for pets?
The book shows only the treats you name, and never shows chocolate, crackers or other unsafe food as part of the celebration. For what is safe for your pet to eat on the day, ask your vet. This page is not veterinary advice.
