About this book

A printed copy is paid, and the tribe can split it.

Page by page
  1. Cover

The bride's name and a title built from your answers, over a photo of the tribe. You choose from three cover options, such as Meher's Bride Tribe: From Hostel Room 204 to Her Pheras, and can change the words in the preview.

  2. Meet the tribe

  3. Eras of her

  4. Stories we still tell

The embarrassing but sweet stories, her 'so her' habits and your inside jokes, used the way you say them and never explained. Pick emotional, funny roast or a mix. Roast captions stay kind: nothing about her body, caste, religion or who she is, and you can regenerate any line.

  5. The bachelorette

One spread for the bachelorette or the girls' night before the wedding, built only from the photos you choose. If it was a trip, the trip lives here as a single spread.

  6. Letters to the bride

  7. Marriage advice, funny and real

  8. Still your girls

The questions we ask
  1. What's the bride's name, and what do you all actually call her? (e.g. Meher / 'Mehu') Add the wedding date, and the groom's name and bachelorette city if you like.
  2. How did you meet her, and roughly when? (tap: school, college, hostel or PG, work, neighbours, coaching, online, other, plus the year)
  3. Tell us the one memory you'll never stop bringing up.
  4. What's her 'so her' thing: the dialogue, habit, food order or word that only she does?
  5. Your inside joke or code word? (optional; we won't explain it in the book, we'll just use it)
  6. Pick a tone and a language: emotional, funny roast or a mix; English, Hinglish or Hindi.
Best for and styles

  • 4 to 12 friends who want to give the bride one gift together

  • A best friend's wedding when half the tribe lives in other cities or abroad
  • Friends from different eras of her life: school, college, hostel and work
  • Instant-photo minimal: clean white pages, one hero photo per page and short captions
  • Scrapbook: kraft paper, washi tape, instant-photo frames and handwritten-style captions
  • Doodle sketchbook: hand-drawn doodles and arrows over your photos, like notebook margins
  • Filmy poster: a retro hand-painted poster cover and chapter openers with original titles

  • Y2K digicam: flash-photo frames, date stamps and pixel stickers

Questions parents ask

Is it really free?

Making the book and saving the PDF is free. Printing is optional and paid, and we confirm the price and delivery date by email before you pay.

What happens to my photos?

Photo books are laid out on your device and the photos never leave it. For illustrated books, up to three photos are used once to draw the character and then deleted. See privacy.

Some bachelorette photos are not for the whole family. How do we keep them out?

Only the photos you approve go in, and you can remove any page in the preview. Before you confirm, you can share the draft with the tribe so everyone sees it first, and anyone can use the 'remove me' link to take out their entry or a photo of themselves. Printed books follow our print rules, which do not allow nudity.

Can we give it at the mehendi or the bachelorette?

Yes. The book is about your friendship, so it works before the wedding with the photos you already have. The digital book is ready as soon as you confirm. If you want a printed copy by a certain date, we show dispatch times before you pay, so leave yourself some room.

Can each of us get a copy?

Yes. Order as many copies as there are friends, in the same format or a small mini for each of you. Every copy is the same book.
