About

The LlamaIndex framework is a Python toolkit for building LLM-powered agents that work over a user's own data, with retrieval-augmented generation as one tool an agent can call. It offers data connectors, indexes and vector stores, query and chat engines, agents and event-driven workflows with branching, retries and human review. A core package plus more than 300 integration packages cover LLM, embedding and vector store providers. The company's main focus has shifted to its LlamaParse document platform, and the framework remains available as an open toolkit.
